The Haleakala Volcano is located in the Haleakala National Park on the Hawaiian island of Maui. This dormant volcano is approximately 10,000 feet high and is a popular tourist destination on the Hawaiian island.
From the summit of Haleakala, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the island and of the volcano's massive crater. Haleakala last erupted in the late 1800's.
